Richard Leet


Richard Leet FICB CB.Dip, PM.Dip, set up his own sole trader business, Richard Leet Book-keeping Services, in May 2004. From initially one customer, who is still a customer today, Richard's business successfully grew, thus creating a limited company named Black Type Accountancy Limited. Since then, Black Type Accountancy Ltd have gone on to offer the full spectrum of accounting and bookkeeping services.

Richard's hard work, determination, attention to detail and enthusiastic demeanour has built the foundations for the company that Black Type Accountancy Ltd is today. From his first customer, Richard has built a rapport with his clients which shows through his meticulous handling of their financial accounts. Initially offering his services across Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas, Richard now travels across the country (and sometimes abroad) should a company or individual who shares the same outlook, enthusiasm and drive for success require his services.

In 2018, Richard was selected to become a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, the highest membership available.

Stephanie Barrington-King MAAT

Accounts Assistant

Stephanie has worked in Accountancy for just over 30 years in various roles, including Financial Accountant and Credit Manager for a FTSE listed Company. Stephanie's qualifications include AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) and Level 2 CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and has recently become a Quickbooks Online Certified ProAdvisor. Stephanie enjoys working with different companies and people and bringing sense and order to the ‘books’.
