IT’S TIME FOR...'FREE ON A FRIDAY'

THE last two blog instalments have aimed to provide details of the support initiatives that are available to businesses as they seek to cope with the implications of Covid-19.

While there is no doubt that the support schemes have helped millions of UK employees and self-employees during this challenging time, we at Black Type Accountancy want to do our bit to assist. Which is why we’ve come up with ‘Free on a Friday’...

Let us explain. For many years Black Type Accountancy has served many businesses within the racing industry and now we want to give back to the community that has supported us for so long.

So, every Friday afternoon between 2pm and 5pm, Black Type Accountancy director Richard Leet will be available to offer free telephone advice to businesses and sole traders who are directly connected to the racing industry.

The ‘Free on A Friday’ invite is extended to racing stables, stud offices, jockeys, jockeys’ agents and any other organisation or individual who works within the framework of the racing industry.

While this initiative has been designed to help businesses who may have been affected by Covid-19, Richard is willing to advise on any of the areas that Black Type Accountancy provide expertise in (see drop down menu on ‘Services’ link).

‘Free on a Friday’ allows for a business to call Richard for an initial free consultation and then to have one further follow-up phone appointment – again with no charge attached.

By offering his services, Richard is hoping that he can deliver easy-to-grasp and clear advice that helps – for example – a racehorse trainer or their office to find solutions to their book- keeping and accounts problems. Black Type Accountancy’s initial plan was to run ‘Free on a Friday’ throughout September 2020, but we are extending this to help during the challenges that businesses continue to face as a result of the current pandemic.
